The system

Conan AI Cam is an ESP32-CAM embedded system developed in December 2025. It combines a compact camera module with a custom 3D-printed enclosure to perform object detection at the edge.

Object detection

The recognition workflow was developed with Edge Impulse. The project focused on applying an object-detection model within the constraints of small embedded hardware.

Physical prototype

The electronics and camera were assembled inside a purpose-built case, turning the model and controller into a complete handheld prototype rather than a loose development board.
